The game is too weird. I inflated the price of bread so people would eat less. As if demand shouldn't be so dependent on price. You could literally pay a lot and sell very little bread; what would they eat then? I understand clothing, watches, and so on. But as if there should be a more complex logic than population slightly influencing bread consumption, while price has a huge impact. Plus, it would complicate wage control. For example, I played for a long time (well, before oil and cars, I honestly swear by them) with very expensive bread and watches, and everything else for next to nothing, and it even worked. Although, in theory, I had a society where no one ate, but there were lots of clothes.
