best score I've gotten is 365 with 10 hearts left over in 9:45. The trick is fully depleting your hp before leveling or using any hearts, killing the lich as soon as you hit 10, and getting the egg early. A couple more pointers, killing the slime witch give info, finding romeo/juliet gives info, always click the squares that will reveal the most area.
