De-compiled the game searching for cheats too and found that if you name your character DEBUGGER (case sensitive) then restart then when you are in the skill tree you can press space to gain 100 points. Although this also enables a feature to change levels with shift and ctrl which doesn't check bounds so it can crash if you press shift while in the overworld then it crashes without saving.
