Started, explored the upper floor thoroughly, went downstairs to start unraveling the mystery, talked with the cat first thing, and apparently Lisa already solved the mystery by talking to everyone else? Like, mentioned apprentices and stuff. I never even left the inn!
Oh, hitting "reform" rather than feeding a plant at the end of the farmer scene softlocks the game.
And I don't have a key item to leave tabletops.
Maybe it's a good time to point out I didn't start a fresh save for this version, does that matter?
