Piercer is way too good, there isnt much reason to play stylishly when the piercer already does the job well enough. Maybe if the game had an ammo system and stylish play rewarded you with ammo it would play better?
you unlock more weapons further in the game, and then piercer definetly wont do ( but marksman always does :3 )
