Okay I figured it out I needed to get the Lillith shrine. I ignored them earlier bc the only useful looking one was frog shrine which was intimidating because it seemed *kinda* complex. The other ones are kinda useless; I'm on a massive surplus of food and I have tentacle cleaners basically everywhere.
