In Hebrew narrative prose, there's something called "hypotaxis." And it's different from English because often don't connect our sentences with words like "and" and "but," but Hebrew does. And this would explain the reason why there are so many ands. And not all of them are even translated!
Anyway, I was writing in hypotaxis. I don't typically write like that, but you can see that almost every sentence was connected by an "and" or another clause like that.
