Create a shortcut for "TADC_FanGame.exe," then go to the shortcut properties, at the end, add -dx11.
It should look something like this:

Windows\TADC_FanGame.exe -dx11

I hope this worked for you

Hi, unfortunately, my game also keeps crashing every minute, even though the game itself runs smoooth as butter. I tried to follow your advice, but where do I need to add "-dx11"? I did it at the Shorcut tab (in properties) and adding it at "Target:". This makes my game waaay to dark lol. It made my game survive longer, but crashed eventually anyway :')

I'm glad the performance has improved, I'll try to do more research to reduce the number of crashes per minute LOL

Same. Do you also use a Radeon GPU?

Yes

yup

fr, where should i put dx11 to?

I renamed the shortcut but it didn't work : (

it says game couldn't open and will close

Make sure you don't break the Target placement, if there is a minor inaccuracy it won't work

I copied and pasted it so I'm pretty sure it's correct this time, but it keeps showing the same error:

LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Util.cpp] [Line: 991]

hr failed

 at D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12Resources.cpp:1048

 with error E_INVALIDARG

Doesn't help. It made the lighting way worse, but kept the crashes.

it  says it’s had known problems with D3D11. Do you know what that means?

dosent work, you are misleading people
