i know this might sound a bit corny, but Nik's story reminds me so, so much of one of my closest friends in life. my good friend and honorary older brother figure is a domestic abuse survivor with moderate to severe anxiety, and what saved him was also music. i don't think he would be alive today if it weren't for music. albeit, it was specifically cello and music composition that saved him... their stories still feel so similar to me. this game is very near and dear to me because of that, and i love what the devs have done with this beautiful game. i recommend Criminally Yours to all my friends who play visual novels for its scrumptious writing, thrilling romances, and absolutely beautiful storyline! As a fellow Pianist + Painter I truely value art. I like to believe that the act of creation, is art in itself. Art is the expression of emotions & feelings regardless of shape or form. We are all artists, the medium of performing it may differ from person to person (In your case it was cello/music).
