I think the concept of the game is fun, and I like the fact that there's some actual difficulty to it. The weight of the net being considered as part of the mechanic of the game is very creative. I also like the fact that the sharkies are as small as the fish.
In terms of gameplay, I really suck at it. The fish come and go really fast, and I can't move the net and the boat around at the same time. Having different game difficulties could be beneficial for the gameplay, making it easier for people like me with awful reflexes. Or you could add a booster feature, like a fish that gives you an extra life or a sturdier net. In general, I think it's a creative take on the fishing simulator, it makes this kind of cozy game more extreme, forcing you to put up an effort to not end up losing. Keep up the good work and happy fishing!
