wait but wouldnt the characters in the current timeline who didnt time travel with them also mutilate if their past 2014 counterparts did? nah but besides that this is a really good concept
It basically began an alternate timeline/reality that deviates from the original, so the rest of them are fine while Black and Sky are in the timeline where everyone is mutilated (its kinda confusing but yeah)
