Did you check hunger and thirst? They’ll increase over time and kill you if you don’t manage them. If you’re on the travel menu, you can go back to where you came from and try find some food/water.
If what you are saying is that you can’t do anything because your hunger/thirst is low, you have no choice other than to go back to a save where you can eat or restart the game.
