This VN no joke reconnected my love and passion with a specific type of men again (And a spark in the name of love), when life seemed most dull.
It had so much love put into the game, as if it was a sourdough starter that has been inside a bakery for 5 years. Fitting for a studio name lol. It was really ambitious, Felt like the identity of this game (UI and whatnots) was realized from the start.
> Spoilers ahead <
(I red until chapter 5)
The background art has no right to be this mesmerizing. It felt criminal to even question if this experience is free (like the airplane scene, mansion entrance).
Don't get me started with Stephan's first CG, coupled with Don's "First meeting" music. I squee like a child receiving a big rainbow lollipop. They both sold me this feeling of euphoric-love-at-furst-sight and overloaded gentle-cuteness Corey had when they first met. It honestly fuel the flame that once dimly lit by the hardships of life, my love for cute gentle giant MUSCLEGUTS (done VERY right)!!!
And then I died multiple times later at the coffee shop. At some point you have to wonder what sweets they put in their drinks.
I didn't expect that the signs of the main protags' struggles would show itself up this fast however. I for one would like to see how they fleshed out Stephan's /past/ and how they will move this forward in the later chapters.
I also cannot wait to see how they would portray Corey's realization after having closure with Jason. I am excited to see how he would come to terms with his past mistakes that once hurted his ex badly, as the novel is also tackling this topic as well (I could relate).
This is my first comment ever on any game on this site, it is really clear that this game is a labor of love. There are many topics I can relate to and appreciate in this game. Can't wait to see what the Bjakery has in store! Bread takes time to loaf up after all ;p
