How did you interpret the theme?
I'm a merchant that goes from town to town to trade! I tried my hand at art and used MS Paint as my background.

Nice Idea :D, first time I spend everything and couln't travel anymore. Then I made it to > 1000 golds but then no ending and the travel didn't work anymore. But still great idea and I had fun making money :)! And really fitting the theme :)

Creative idea! I forgot to save money for travel and lost. lol

I saw my brother play this, and I just came to say wow; This is fantastic! I have played a few games, and watched my brother play some too, but this is the absoulute best interpretation of the theme I've seen so far! It's simple, but I think it actually utilizes the "Go to town aspect" in a significant gameplay aspect, and that was the hardest part for a lot of us! good job!

I liked this game a lot. It is unique. There was a bug that the town options went blank after I hit a thousand gold. It might have happened because I was spamming the sell button when I hit the thousand. Maybe? I think if you wanted to you could do a full game with the buy and sell mechanic if you expanded on it. It was fun.

Sorry for the bug! I didn't really notice it, but looks like everyone is encountering it and preventing from a satisfying ending. Thank you for the comment on expanding to a full game, maybe I'll get to it one day!

Great little game, those sounds and music really add to the atmosphere. Good job, I had fun!

Thanks Martin! It was from a free music library, so credits to the original artists.

It is fun, and it is a good first game. Sadly it bugged out at a late day  and it showed the three travel options empty. Otherwise it is a simple and nice game. Sadly it is not very silly.

Developer

Thank you so much for your comment! Sorry for the bugs, I'll definitely try to iron it out. And yeah I think the type of game isn't that silly, but I just kept going to finish the game and got loss in the sauce. You can say it was silly of me to miss the theme.

"You can say it was silly of me to miss the theme"  Jerbob's SILLY JAM 2026 was inside us all along. Also don't worry too much about it, for a 2 day jam these things tend to happen.
