It's not about courage, it's just that a) most people do not use the app and b) as one of the few people who do, I can''t contribute anything beyond "yeah, it do be like that".
For a while, the app was completely unusable because CloudFlare kept blocking all access. It just isn't a very good app and maintaining it is not a very high priority for itch.io.
