You’re comparing a demo to a full game, and that’s exactly why the comparison does not make much sense. A demo is meant to show a base concept and an early direction, not a finished product with the same scope, systems, and amount of content as a full release. The old full game did not appear fully finished overnight either. It took time, updates, adjustments, and improvements to become what it was.

As for the new animations, simply saying they are “worse” than the old ones is not objective criticism. That is a personal impression, not a concrete or useful point by itself. Constructive criticism explains what is wrong in a specific way, such as the fluidity, timing, style, readability, or overall visual coherence. Just saying “the old ones were better” does not really help improve anything.

Overall, the current game is visually more polished than the old version in many ways, so I do not see why I should keep a comment that is entirely subjective, based on an unfair comparison, and does not provide clear, actionable feedback. The demo had much less content, so of course it could create a different impression. It also makes more sense to wait for future updates before judging the whole project as if development were already over.

I do accept criticism, but criticism needs to be clear, reasoned, and constructive to be useful.

You are free to dislike the new direction, but if you want your criticism to be useful, be specific. Or at least must be logical.

deleting criticism is a red flag and comparing a demo to a "full game" is still legitimate especially if they preferred the demo to what exists now. and saying hope that helps at the end of your comment seriously makes you come off as an ass or a bot.

I’m deeply sorry to be honest, I behaved badly, and I accept that.

I didn’t think the criticism was fair, and it really knocked my confidence and that of my artists regarding the work we were doing. For a demo comparison.

But I accept that I shouldn’t have
