haha I do have a lot of ideas with these kind of things.
Doberman or Rottweilers would work too. Maybe their informative neighbor tells them about the rival gang to start that route up. Or a new neighbor.
First scene has to be them proving they’re worth protecting though first the leader then his crew if they satisfy them they give aid lol
