The art is fantastic, and I love the idea! I couldn't get too far into the game without running into a game-breaking bug, but from what i could play the game seems fun. The bug was that whenever you entered the shop, the next item would always be the same thing(not sure what it was) and it would float you up infinitely. Otherwise a really cool game tho!
Ok reading the comments of the game jam post, i figured out that it was a jetpack. Having up to go down is kind of unintuitive. The manhole cover was a very often run killer though, since there are many configurations where its impossible to get up early game. Still a great idea, just needs more work done on it. I would love to play again once its less softlocky.
