In my opinion, it doesn’t matter whether the game is powerful for your age or not; as long as you keep at it, you’ll have a good head start over others – many others. When I was 11, I didn’t even think about taking part in game jams. I started with Scratch at 12, have been developing with ‘proper’ engines for about six years, and this is still only my first jam. What’s impressive isn’t necessarily what you create, but the fact that you’re already making games and uploading them.
