Hello! I want to start this out by saying that from what I'm seeing with the trailer for the game, and my first experience with the demo, I think this game has a lot of potential, and I'm really excited to see how this project progresses and develops over time. Thanks to Ace Combat, Arcade flight sims like this are one of my favorite genre's as of late, and it's really cool to see this and other games like it start to show up more frequently
However, I do have one big issue with Vo.11a I'm experiencing that I wanted to share here. Controller support doesn't quite seem to be working properly at the moment. For maneuvers like pitching the aircraft up and down, and changing it's Yaw, i noticed that sometimes it just doesn't respond initially, and I have to either move the stick or push the shoulder buttons again just to make it move. I've also noticed that the some of the face buttons seem to preform two functions at once (I.E the X and Y buttons both seem to alter the radar size, while only the Y button changes the target. Same thing with the other two where the both the A and the B button seem to launch missiles, while the A button fires the guns sometimes when a missile isn't actively being fired). I tried to see if going into the settings and manually remapping the controls would fix these issues, but it didn't fix the problem
Due to this, on top of my general unfamiliarity with keyboard and mouse, or just keyboard, I didn't play the demo for very long. I didn't feel it would be right to go through the official feedback form for this since there was a lot of the game that I didn't experience, and I didn't want to be disingenuous with the form and skip large portions of it just to get to this one issue I'm facing, I hope you'll understand. I'm not sure if maybe this is due to the controller I'm using (I'm currently using an 8BitDo Pro 2) or if I'm even the only one having this problem, but I did want to share it nonetheless.
Regardless of all that however, I do think that you're doing some incredible work here and I can safely say that this game is probably my most anticipated indie game at the moment. I've been craving some more Arcade flight sims as of late, and it really is awesome to see more of these pop up in the wild. I hope that current development, and life in general has been treating you well, and I wish you the best of luck with this project!
