I've never read this before and it looks interesting, should I read it now or wait until July for the definitive edition?

I'd say it's up to you; there's nothing wrong with AFFG in its current form, we just wanted to take the opportunity to expand on some of the writing and add a few new artpieces in the definitive edition.
