Can you try to delete your save files and start a new game, save and load and tell us if it works? Make sure to back up your save files before so they aren't lost.
Save files are located in appdata/locallow/arvusgames
No, the issue is the "Now Loading " screen as far as I can tell, any new saved files I create to this date or old saved files are just deadlocked into the infinite loading.
