i am having the same issue, game plays audio and appears on taskbar, i cant click anything on my main monitor, and i receive an error about drivers timing out (my drivers are up to date), have to right click the icon on the task bar on another monitor/ use task manager to close it

I may be a bit too late with the response, but I found a solution. When starting the game hold Shift, there you can go to the debug menu. While in the debug menu change the powersave option to disable.
I hope it will work for you as well.
