Very cute! As a proof of concept this works really well, and the intro cutscene was a nice touch. Out of curiosity, what were the other ideas that you said you had planned but couldn't get around to implementing?
more skins, get born by eggs instead of just spawning, special abilities to the player, and buildings to mess around with the turtles
