Howdy!

I'm now taking some Unreal Engine classes.  HOLY COW!  There is so much more I can do with DamNation!  You can expect some serious environment enhancements in the future.  It's very exciting!

In v_07 beta news, I've finally fixed an issue with stone placement collisions.  I had no idea that some materials can have some advanced features that actually interfere with general collision settings and expectations.  So this fix has paved the way for more dam building dynamics as well.

I have now passed 10 downloads of DamNation!  It's a small but mighty milestone for me.  I wonder when I'll pass 100 visits to my itch.io page?  I'll be sure to let you all know when that happens.  It just passed 70 visits and getting it going has been very slow.  If I build it, they will come.

If you download my game, I will mention your name in my readme file.  If it's your feedback that I feel takes things to the next level, I'll even credit you in the game via the credits button. Of course, if I use your art in game, you are credited appropriately.  My list of credits is already growing.

Anyway, I'm just one person and like someone said, being a solo dev can be an overwhelming amount of work.  I'm in it for the long haul though and I'm having a great time, 8 hour bug fixing sessions or not.  Ha!

take care,

Ortisha
