I just finished Cedar's route and I really enjoyed reading this VN! While the story does show some signs of inexperience I want you to know that for a beginner this was a really fun read. Not only that but I actually found myself getting immersed in the story especially at the beginning. I absolutely adore the art style and the overarching plot is really interesting. I came in expecting it to be worse... maybe that’s just my pessimistic side showing but I genuinely enjoyed it a lot. I’ve seen some comments saying this VN was bad but I’d disagree. I’d probably rate it as more of a “medium” with a lot of potential to grow even better. Bad VNs to me are ones I give up on because they fail to show any passion or creativity.... or the spelling is that bad....... which I don't think your VN would fit in any of those catagories.
I did have some issues particularly with the pacing of the vn and occasional shallow character development but overall this VN shows a lot of potential. I’m still planning to read the other two routes, Rowan and Theo so maybe I can give a more detailed review once I’ve finished them. I hope you don’t let criticism get to you. While constructive critism is important for growth it can sometimes hurt especially when you’ve poured so much passion into your work. I genuinely hope to see more from you in the future because this VN clearly shows your dedication and passion.
