I love akira so much but omg why is the mc so insufferable👁💧👄💧👁🙏 like sure some of it was cute but most of it was just so rude, the whole “please akira can you shut up for once in your life” really threw me off ugh, if mc has no hatersthen im dead.
Also the story was beautifull goodjob to all the creators yall ate down🫦
okay I genuinely get where you come from because at first Haruto SEEMS kind of rude in past flashbacks. But as seen in flashbacks and even now that Haruto was VERY much a pessimist or a realistic type of person and is very blunt and honest. Which honestly is a two sided quality because he can and will be honest which is good, but can be harsh since he just puts the realism in with no soft lay down. And I'm pretty sure Akira knew he was realistic and blunt in general, and he maybe thought he needed that because Haruto is firm, maybe a bit too firm that it could be harsh but it gives that push he needs because Haruto really isn't afraid to say it but yet again being blunt and really honest/realistic has it's pros and cons. Now onto the rude part, I honestly think it just ties back into intention and how you believe it's toned since at face value it is kinda harsh, but yet again Haruto is very much implied to fit into the tsundere category if you could see on his motives to get away from Akira but unable too even though they haven't been in contact. And now onto envy and yet admiration which is the most HUMAN thing about Haruto and is why I do like his character. Feeling envy and yet admiration is a feeling a lot of people get, especially artists which is why I kind of relate to Haruto's inner monologues, and yes those lines where he tells Akira to shut up, or when he realistically encourages Akira in the flashbacks feel double sided. Look, imagine you take your greatest skill and someone you're close too is INCREDIBLE at it, a genius and then they're all scared to show off that talent and asking if they're good at it when A LOT OF PEOPLE COLLECTIVELY AGREE THAT THEY ARE. You would have a root of Envy forming or a lot of people WOULD and it feels like they're indirectly shoving it in your face that they're more advanced, and tiring when it feels like your own insecurities are tying in with someone's insecurities since Akira was known to be shy and have anxiety and constantly came to Haruto for advice, again a lot of insecurities shoved at you which is natural to happen. Which is why, you CAN not like the MC and I'm not excusing that he his VERY blunt and honest that is can come off as rude sometimes, but if you analyze it deeper it just honestly show's how human Haruto feels, he's always admired Akira yet felt a bit of envy which is natural for a human. He's realistic but also has dreams and hopes of his own he always gets dragged to. Haruto is complex and multi dimensional, and shows purely how a lot of people think and feel. And I relate to him deeply especially on the push and pull of admiration and envy. You don't have to love him, but I hope this would open up your perspective?
