Hello, thanks for reporting it, but I can't reproduce it on my end.
1. I download the game via itch.io
2. I run it

4. I exit the game
5. Everything game-related gets closed properly: https://imgur.com/a/q0BLdOl

Should I do anything specific to reproduce it?

Nothing specific, I changed some settings like vsync, fov and controls. I tried to reproduce it myself today, but it didnt work, so I guess it was something on my end

I see. From what I've found, it might be connected to antivirus software sometimes.
