Hello! Super fun game, it has a low energy vibe that I enjoy. Firstly I only had one issue, Idk if it was because I messed something up in the tutorial or missed something entirely, but I can't find a map. There isn't a button to toggle one in the control section, and I didn't see it brought up in the tutorial. However looking through these comments, some mention a map. So could be negligence on my part. When I was able to make deliveries it just told me to make them, and Idk which direction to go in or where it is I'm dropping stuff off at. One last thing, Personally I would also Increase the durability of the tank a bit. bumping into small rocks or driving over them is something i would have not expected a tank to take much damage from but it does, and it costs a pretty penny. Any-who. Ideas:
Switch the tutorial up to someone talking to us, like the character we trade with or the guy who's tank this used to be. It would be an easy change that would bring a bit more immersion into the game, along with options for story/world building.
(Again could be my bad) A map! or arrows to follow, or even lights, like street light, it could even be a glowing star on the horizon. Just some direction. What could be cool and more immersive is also a compass, like on the tank that we have to move the camera every once and a while to see., pointing in the direction of the goal.
Weather problems. blizzards, tornados, hail, avalanches. Something to get in our way.
Depending on the mood you want to continue with: Pirates in tanks, or some kind of antagonists. I know the weather is somewhat of an antagonist but something like more than that. You could even add like monsters that come out at night, within the same esthetic of course.
Also something to fight with, guns would be easy, and kinda fit the vibe but there are other things too: Throwing junk at other tanks to scare them off, the grabber is really fun and there could be the possibility of adding a saw or drill to the end of it, allowing you to switch between the saw and drill.
Also somewhat going with the previous one. Being able to salvage wrecks of other tanks. Taking the treads, engines and so on.
Anyways just some ideas, very fun and strangely cozy game especially for the setting. Thanks for putting he effort into making it.
