“You Escaped”

Fun game! It’s very difficult, but in a good way, it took me many attempts to beat all four levels. I really liked the sound design and how the music got creepier with each level.

The flashlight mechanic was a great idea. Managing your battery while avoiding getting snuck up on by enemies felt intense and engaging.

There were a couple of issues, though. Sometimes I got stuck on walls. Also there were times when enemies would keep following me on the same tile, making it hard to freeze them with the light. I also felt the red screen effect became a bit too intense at times and obstructed my vision too much.

Overall, great work!

Great ambience and sound design!

I concur with what cvirlik said, I didn't realized the sanity mechanic at all during first run^^ Also, it felt like the stamina was not really limiting: it felt like I was still sprinting even when out of stamina. I think a small delay after last using it before it refills is great for this kind of game.

I really enjoyed it. At first, it seems easy, but as you get closer to the end of the game, the tension grows incredibly, and the desire to be caught by the enemy becomes smaller and smaller. I flinched slightly in fear when I was unexpectedly attacked, and the game was over.

Very liked sound design and controls fluidity! Nice concept, but I felt little too disconnected from mechanic in practice, I think there could be more obvious indication of insanity than just a bar. Overall super nice!

Interesting idea I think having a fullscreen on itch or checking that setting would help a lot

Had a great time playing it, only thing that i didn't like is how sometimes you can get stuck on the walls, that really hurt my experience, i died a few times just because of getting stuck, but besides that i really enjoyed it

Very good!
