Hi! I'm shai/noogie (he/they)! I'm looking for beta reader(s) for my novelette project I'm planning on doing for this jam. Here's the jist of the project:

The main characters are Hans (transmasc nb, they/them) and their partners, Jakey (questioning cis man, he/him) and Daesung/Dougie (cis man, he/him)! They're all retired hockey players in their late 30s/early 40s and adjusting to "being normal again" after leaving the sport.

• Short story/novelette (around 15k words), free/PWYW*, 18+ only, a few explicit scenes but mostly focused on romance and relationship
  • *You'll get a cut of the earnings if I make anything off of PWYW. We can negotiate this.
• "Plot": they to go skinny dipping and fool around while camping somewhere in late summer northern California. There's bickering and teasing, as any old throuple would
  • I'll have the outline and WIP available for you to look at as I'm working on it!
  • Will be on Google Docs

• Timeline: I'll be chipping away at this slowly between other work, but I'll lock in the outline and main scenes by the end of March.
  

Please keep in mind this will be unpaid, as I'm a postgrad student with not a lot of spending money. I'll be very appreciative of you, though, and can pay you in art if you'd like (I specialize in portraits and character designs).
