with what Nintendo has been doing (especially with Palworld and other similar games pretty much like this one) This game and Dev will be Very lucky if nothing happens at all, and it sticks around Too continue. especially since its on that site that starts with a P and gives theses $ from other peeps that want it early, yah know how nintendo is about that.
He made a twitter account a few days ago (linked on his itch profile) and stated
"Hey, I made this account to share my adult game projects.
Right now I'm working on Pokémon Naughty Version, an 18+ Pokémon parody.
I'll also use this account to look for artists, voice actors, and other collaborators for my projects."
What you've said about nintendo is not really a concern for someone doing such a niche project
Leaf on Fire & Hypno Town both got shutdown as far as future updates thanks to Nintendo & GameFreak/Pokemon Company/CreatureGet (all 3 are an umbrella for Pokemon games, manga, anime, movies, TCG, & merch). The only thing that's probably keeping PNV from being issued a similar cease & desist notice is Nintendo's relentless war on fan art, their lost legal war against PalWorld, & the fact that Nintendo & Pokemon Company are keeping an eye on another game seeking to implement similar mechanics to PalWorld & Pokemon both. And that's just the legal actions before the anti-consumer complaints Nintendo is still getting hammered with over the Switch 2.
