Got two turns in, ran into the following 

debugger invoked on a SB-FORMAT:FORMAT-ERROR in thread

error consistenly happens going from turn 2 to 3

fixed that bug

thank you! worked flawlessly beyond this. An unique and enjoyable experience. Though i couldnt figure out how the trench upgrades worked.

You click ESC while playing and go to the pause menu, there is the trench upgrades option there
