i am Obsessed with this story rn, it is right up my alley in all the things i love. currently torn between poly dating death/damien/maybe morgan or going with hastur, and i Love Cassy!!!! she is my precious angel baby and i would Kill for her. btw, i might make it a choice in the bazaar to buy a gift directly for cassy and possibly intergrating a bit of a relationship bar with her? non-romancable, obviously, but i love kids and would love to be able to gain her trust and stuff. i imagine the more of a relationship you build with her, it maybe gives a little boost to hastur's affections towards you too, but honestly, even if its completely seperate from him, like yaga and shelly, i would love it. and i do know that if you pick hastur, you actually get a gift for cassy, but i almost didnt buy anything bc i just wanted to get the kid a gift since she asked for one lol.

anyways, i am In Love with this game, like i said, discovered it yesterday and did the whole thing to the ending deapite the fact that i was on my phone and kept accidentally refreshing the page. just a quick question though- is the COGForum demo updated to 3.0 or should i play through it again to get farther here?

Thank you so much!! So happy you enjoyed the game. For Cassy, the game actually tracks her relationship with Hastur, not with you, which is part of his arc, but will also affect your relationship with both.

For the bug you found! Good to place to update all readers: there's indeed a bug in the itch.io version of the game, BUT the bug only occurs when finished the game, so you just missed out on a “Thank you for reading” page lol.

I will fix it in the future, but it will reset everyone’s saves, so waiting for a while until everyone finished their playthroughs.

Will also give a warning before updating ofc :D

on a kind of crazy side note, im hugely into ttrpgs and go to a regular ttrpg night with a local group, and i was wondering if you minded if i made a setting based off your work? i will, ofc, credit you for the inspiration and concepts (and likely gush abt it to anyone who listens) and i'm not planning on like. selling it or whatever, it would be solely for my own use with this group + maybe some friends. i'm sort of using the backbones of In Death with your setting, tweaking things as needed, but i've tweaked enough things that it's almost its own game now? lmfao. anyways, since this is, ofc, your work, its totally cool if you don't want me using it this way, but if you are cool with it, im super happy to even update you with how it goes!
