So first things first: manor puzzle.
Align each candle with the window. Each window represents a candle. A flame above the window means the corresponding candle's flame has to be lit. No flame means the candle has to be off.
Once that's done, a second puzzle opens on the wall on the right side.
The puzzles are way easier if you upgrade the flame spell (the very first spell) and buy the "shuffle" spell.
