If by app version you mean the Android version - and its a download issue rather than actually playing it I'm afraid I can't help you sorry. Your best bet would be contacting Itch support. I have heard you need to have about double the free storage space on your device than that of the game's actual size - but I think that relates more to playing it than downloading it.
