I think it would be good to check every 8 or 12 hours if you don't want it to be so frequent. Because so far, all I've seen is "No applications today."

As an alternative, outsourcing medical care for higher expenses could work. Players with over 25 furrymon probably have plenty of cash to go around.
I don't know if that would solve anything, since I don't even know how much it costs to hire one, because none have appeared for me yet.
