Unless that was the new website https://www.houseofshinobi.com/ or here on Itch.io (or Discord) then I'm afraid you have been exposed to pirated versions of the game. It is not officially available from any other sources (nor supported.)
The discord is the place to be to always get the latest bugfixes versions and support with the game.
