Been playing around with the linux build for a few days. The tool having AI integration is concerning, even in a limited form. I feel like it means my output is less trustworthy to certain people. Just introduces another thing to be worried about. I wish I could change the launch image. It's kind of bad. Oh, and it just didn't work out of the box on ubuntu, it relies on a dependency that i just didn't have, but only the appimage. I rooted around in the files and got it running quickly but still, thought you should know. All in all it's a promising project.

Thanks for the feedback!

Haven't heard the comment about the launch image, but it shouldn't be that hard to change. You would just replace the vangard-renide-512x512.png file to whatever you want as your splash image. Bear in mind that will also change the small icon in the app itself.

Can you tell me what the missing dependency was that the app reported?

It's an interesting take. If you don't enable the AI integration (through Settings) you can honestly say that no AI is involved in anything you produce with this tool. At this point I'm not planning on removing the feature, which is off by default, but one could make the case that there should be a more explicit way to remove the feature for people who have the same concerns you do. I'll add to the backlog.
