Poor girls. I don't think they're good for each other but they are what each other needs right now. Maybe they could become better. They need a new environment, community and some years of therapy. I was shocked at how emotionally realistic this is: Scarlett's self narrative, the transference of her feelings towards her abuser being placed on someone new, her grief over her abuser's good traits, and the obsessions over purity. Claire's reactions made a lot of sense too. Her low self esteem is why she puts up with so much. The ending was sad but I retain my hope for them both. Neither are uniquely or irreparably wounded. Monster or not--you're lovable. I like that message. Cool game.

HI!! Just saw this but I really love your interp of the game, the message, AND the characters (you rarely see people chat about Claire's side round these parts!) I especially love the line monster or not, you're lovable (it's a motto I want a lot of my games to have hehe...) And I really think it sums up the affections the cast has perfectly!
