Great game, you really put a lot of time and effort into it and it shows! The models and texturing was amazing, the sounds used really helped get me into the game. I also liked the main dude's hair bounce, I thought that had charm. The sinkhole animation at the end was awesome and I thought the implication of useless throw away workers being used for jobs like this was humorous.
The top down 3D look was also super nice. Combining items felt intuitive and even with getting lost around the world a bit it still gave me valuable info on where stuff was when I needed it later.
Fetching things was a bit tedious with only being able to collect them after learning of the use like the oars when finding the canoe or the boxes dropping only after finding the dark cave.
I also accidentally fell off the map, it seems there's a lack of invisible wall on the middle mountain after crossing the upper mountain with the 4 planks. I thought there might've been a path back there for some reason.
