renpy allows to do it as I know, it'll be a great bonus for screenreader users!Currently when focus is locked on some interactable thing like NPC named john and that NPC has only a picture, screenreader doesn't understand what is it and returns no speech to player. Adding a text tag to that John with direct writing that it's John himself will allow screenreader to recognize it and player will be able to understand on what element they are focused. It's very helpful feature at big list of interactable objects like map directions, some featured buttons like explore or rest, NPCs, objects on the floor ETC.
