i wonder why are you so uncomfortable with the idea of playing as a woman? women had to cope with strictly male protagonists for literal decades, and even nowadays there are a shitton of games with male protags, yet, surprise-surprise, no one has a problem with it. women deserve to have their own space, with their own protags. stories dont have to go out of their way to justify WHY they had to put a female mc in it, because no one does that for male mcs! and, once again, you should ask yourself why playing as a woman is so triggering to you, whether you are trans or not. (hint: its misogyny)
