Oh! Thank You! Wasn't really expecting an answer, if at all!

Thank you kindly for playing and the message! I'm really happy to hear you like the game and the designs got you into drawing, that's great!

Well, you have impressed me greatly with your work, its only natural that something as impressive as your work would encourage me to write what I wrote. And your designs are amazing! And... well, I'm starting to realize just how hard it is to draw art in the end... still, can't give up now, gotta keep trying!

I think this would be a nice thing to see as well, but it's very low on the list of things to work on I'm afraid. It's definitely something I'll consider doing towards the end of production where overhauling the sprites or designs won't be a concern anymore.

Understandable, after all, stuff like enemy types, particles, feedback, sound, enemy designs, and so on are of a much higher priority. Still, just putting it out there as something I think could really make the game pop more!

I can agree with that. Even heavier sound effects for explosions or bullet impacts would be nice, especially since there's no music currently.

Of course, sound is the second thing we hear after all. But i can understand if its not exactly the easiest thing to pull off, after all, you kinda have tune not only your ears, but your mind as well to get in the mood for it! Nevertheless, if what I had seen so far is proof of anything, you are well on the way to make something awesome! Keep it up!

There's a bit too much for me to go over one by one, but I appreciate all of the ideas. I'm working on some new missions that will vary the structure and objectives similar to the ones you've written down. I certainly don't want every mission to be like the first six where you go around and kill things mindlessly, it'll get old quite fast.

Oh! Sorry if it was all a bit much to digest, just tend to have a lot going on in my head when i see cool stuff. Nevertheless, I cannot wait to see what you are cooking up! Always welcome to more stuff to mess around with, new maps, to level, new objectives to accidently blow up or miss, new missions to try and S-Rank, and more! I await with excitement!

The armor packages will also likely behave as you said; some offering better speed or protection at the cost of the overdrive ability. At this point I'm kind of considering removing the powerplant system entirely as I don't think I can put enough meaningful change into the handling or movement in the game with them.

Hmm, an idea I have laying in my head is specialization tied around the generators, I guess.

The usuals of one has more coolant, the other has a higher cruise speed or acceleration, while the last is heavier or lighter.

This makes me think that it could be possible to have a sort of interaction between the armor packages and guns, where certain guns can be supported with a heavy generator because of power demands that other generators can't meet, or a generators with higher coolant are capable of supporting energy weapons(HEL, the Maser from your recent progress report) in a way that allows them to not only sustain fire longer without needing to cool down, as well as having the ammo banks not drain at as fast a rate as the others, with the downside of effecting coolant consumption heavily.

These are just some ideas, don't need to implement them.

Just some of my thoughts and, hopefully, help on the matter of generators, could be fun to have us(the players) think through our loadouts and configurations as well as carefully weigh pros and cons before a mission!

But, again, that's all up to you, not me, just pick and choose what you think could be fun for you!

This is being quietly worked on at the moment and there will eventually be cutscenes at the start and end of each mission to explain things. The factions you fight will also (hopefully) have a lot more behind them and a better reason for why you're fighting against them. Right now pretty much all of the mission briefings in the game and the general set up between each one is a placeholder, I intend to change things up a lot. There's also going to be other characters of course, not just Ms. Sommers on her own.

Oh! Great! I look forward to the results! You have my best hopes and wishes on that end! Can't wait to see who's joining our Mentally Unstable Ginger's Martian Crusade of Violence and Destruction! You have my eager attention!

MAC or M/AC being a catchall term for high-speed crawlers is great by the way, I hadn't thought of that.

Oh that? Well, I took a look at the cover of your WIP User Manual of Sommers' M97A, took the set of words right after the model classification(at least, that's what i think M97A is), cut them down to the first letters, and mashed them together. Stupid simple, I know.

But as the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!".

Sometimes the most simple choice really is the best choice after all!

Besides, i can see grunts, troopers, soldiers, marines, and all manner of Infantrymen pointing at Valerie's M97A and shouting "Mack!" at the top of their lungs. Perhaps the first couple of grunts snickered and laughed at the name, but they are likely long gone, and the name stuck.

Or there could be another reason, or even a name or nickname grunts use. Again, not your boss, just go with what you want, you got me rooting for you!

You're welcome, and thank you as well!

No problem! Best of luck! And remember, we're rooting for you!
