The dialogue is really good, especially when "Barron" repeats to "Emily" what "Duke" told him in chapter 1. I can't really put into proper words what that made me feel but I know I locked in with a new found interest.
I think the thought of whether or not you are Daniel stuck out in my mind the whole time until meeting "Emily" and then it really dawned on me what happened.
The environment is really well made, even when not being able to tell if you're Daniel or Barron the door shut with planks evokes an interesting feeling of whether you're being lied to or not.
I loved the reference to the jam itself on the computer screen, I thought that was clever and funny.
I understand it's a more story oriented game but the lack of meaningful monsters made it feel a little less spooky, still I was apprehensive every time I saw the father so he had a scary quality to him.
