Been loving this game. Although I can't spend money on games per my parents' restrictions (lol) Ive been loving the web version and ive been playing it a lot :)

suggestions/requests (may overlap with others' requests, sorry!)

-integration with spotify including lyrics, which could show up just above the speed etc UI or something. if you could adjust things like position and transparency that would be AMAZING. an integration like this would boost the already incredibly calming and relaxing aspect of this game.

-more cars. also a bigger variety of sounds. would like to hear things other than the electric-ish sound that is currently in the game.
car examples: lamborgini huracan, toyota prius, range rover,

-biomes. the current is good but it would be very cool to see more biomes, especially themed around US national parks. im not sure if this is even possible to implement, but this is something that i think would bring slow roads to the next level. here are some ideas:
-coastal redwood/coasts(redwood national park & big sur highway, both in california)
-dusty desert-ish (as seen in monument valley scenic drive, monument valley tribal park)
-moutainous/high altitude (going to the sun road, glacier national park)
-who doesnt love yellowstone? (grand loop road, yellowstone national park)

-more locations. i do love that you can kinda drift in this game and i think it would be cool to have something like a completely flat world, (similar to minecraft superflat world) with elements like ramps and loops where you can just do random tricks, or practice drifts. very relaxing i know. also something like a racetrack would be cool, especially if you could play it in multiplayer, and race people. some items would be cool too, and a variety of racetracks would be cool - almost like mario kart.

-speaking of multiplayer, the ability to make "rooms" would be cool. you could select an option within the game to "invite people" to your world, and maybe it could give you a 4 digit alphabetical code, and someone else could input that code to a "join game" screen and join your world. you could add a kind of compass element pointing towards that person on the UI while driving so that people dont get completely lost.

anyways thats all of the ideas that i thought were kinda cool. i dont know if these are realistic at all, but again they would be really cool if they existed. love this game though, keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! The plan is definitely to add many more locations, including coasts, forests, mountains etc.; that's the core focus of the project. The Steam version will also be getting more car varieties and combustion engine sounds, and I'll try to figure out a good solution for an in-game music player too.

But I think some of what you're describing - racing, items, ramps - belongs in a different game; I'd prefer to keep the scope for Slow Roads tight and try to do one thing well, rather than branch out too much and risk muddling the game design.  That said, I have tested both rallying and multiplayer in occasional community events - check out driftmas, the annual winter rally that I run every year. I might keep testing ideas for multiplayer and competitive modes in the future, but for now it's not the focus - first I want to get working on these new locations. Thanks again!
