This game has a definitive beginning and end with story and gameplay sprinkled through the middle. It's a little impressive.

The visual style of the game, though underbaked, was getting me pretty immersed in the world. I was actually somewhat scared once I got the gun and knew I was going to have to use it on something. Good atmosphere and tension building. It fell apart once I saw the enemy. he was a little too goofy for me.

The gameplay itself can leave a lot to be desired. It is rather simple, but that is not exactly bad for this style of game. The gun was clunky, but the pickaxe felt pretty decent actually. The player was slow, but the game world felt small and populated enough to not be too noticeable outside of looking around for more things to mine.

The game feels like it was developed with a clear vision of how it would be played. That's an important skill to have. Given more development time and resources, I could see this game being great.
