The game isn't playable yet so I'll be using this as my devlog. (Oh wait I saw that I can still have a game page when reviewing the rules again)

Devlog

Week of 22th to 29th

This was when I actually started working on the project, which was originally for another game jam about making and idler or clicking game. It wasn't like the first one I did since I wanted to create custom assets for it. For that one, one point was to show love for the default assets.

-Completed tileset and some assets.

-Made some of the sprite sheets and description for the characters.

-Worked on the decorating system

-Made main character sprite sheet (easiest of all)

Lava was hard to make. Kept making carpets, but I kind of did it.

Next week it'll be tougher to work on it because I have tests and a portfolio (portfolio was skipped, yay!), so I may just come up for some ideas for it and work on some assets. Because of the point of the challenge, hopefully I won't wait until the last minute to finish it like I do alot.

-Today- (March 2nd)

Didn't work on it much. I mainly thought about my dream game idea.

Please post your devlogs on the “Devlog” part of your Itch page.

You don’t need a playable game to have an Itch page, and I’ll likely miss your devlogs if you post them here.

Yes, I know. I actually edited my comment mentioing that before your comment. I was going to wait until the end of this week so I'll have something new to share when I put up the game page.
