I'm kinda confused about how the updater works. I use the downloader to redownload the 2GB, then open the downloaded one and it will update the preinstalled one? I might just be a lil dumb
The new updater is all that is required now. Updates will happen in app by clicking the update button in the games main menue.

You will have to back up your saves first. Or use sync id. If you already played before.
Or start over.
