Okay Hi! I don't know if anyone else is still struggling with the Mac downloading, BUT i just fiddled with this for an hour and figured it out. So follow the directions as follows, BUT before you edit in terminal, make sure you OPEN THE ZIP DOWNLOAD FIRST.
You should see TOUCHSTARVED-SILICON.4 or INTEL if that's what you have
and the file type will be application instead of zip archive
THEN you initiated the terminal editing instructions and pressed enter and whatnot. I struggled and racked my brain for a good min so hope this helps!
